Overpopulation
The world is filling up with people, houses are stacking up all over the place. Yes, that's right the world is ever increasing in population day by day and soon it will be overpopulated. With all these people around there is less room for farming and resources are getting thin.
​
At the moment the earth harbours about 7.7 billion people. With all these people resources are thinning out and becoming scarce and poverty and hunger are growing in abundance. With all this growth we could very well be heading towards social collapse or even extinction.
​
What causes all this population growth? Well for one mortality rates are low due to medical breakthroughs prolonging human life to well in the '60s for people in more developed countries. Plus better technologies when it comes to warfare whereas now wars are designed to prevent casualties.
​
Higher birth rates! this again due to medical breakthrough with less and less woman dying whilst giving birth to newborn infants. better living in most developed nations with better hospitals and emergency services and the list goes on.
​
With all this growth they say the population should reach about 11.2 billion by 2100. What can we do about this population growth? Not a lot really we will just have to move toward renewable resources and better ways of growing them such as vertical farming and sustainable living.
​
Try not to fear too much there are alternatives to population growth it is the fossil fuels that will suffer the most really all we need is a more sustainable resource and better planning when it comes to building new homes or cities.
​
With all these people around though it may impact on nature as there will be less room for wild animals and forests all over the world if only we could find another planet like ours but that's only a dream.
​
For now, try to get your peace of earth while you can and hold onto it like there ain't no other.
Creationism Vs Darwinism
We all argue on this topic! When I was a heathen I used to argue with my nephew on this particular topic quite frequently until I too have seen the light! Yes, The Theory Of Evolution or Darwinism put plainly. What is this Darwinism? You might say!

It's rubbish in the eyes of a Christian, some smart scientist thought he could defy God with his theory on evolution. With the theory of evolution, animals transform or change form to become a new species when they are adapting to changes on the earth
​
Then there is our argument! All the animals were already there! Animals didn't change to suit the environment they live in, they were just diverse and in abundance. The truth is not many survived changes in climate and so forth which brings me to my argument.
Extinction if animals could mutate to adapt to the new environment or climates why are so many animals becoming extinct. In reality, The theory of evolution is what it is 'Theory' so nevermind Darwin's fairytales.

In the end, its God who created these things and I believe that science is just starting to realise that fact also, come on guys stop dreaming about this rubbish and get real if they could adapt they wouldn't be extinct. Nuff Said!!!

Euthanasia
Euthanasia what are we talking about here? Self-assisted suicide or termination of life on request as the dutch so solemnly put it. Yes, suicide! Not only that but assisted suicide. Or murder if you are a devout Christian. Not all Christians see it that way though as many of us have dealt with cancer patients throughout our lives.
Why is this the topic? Well in New Zealand its the topic of debate right now not only that but it will possibly become law if they pass a bill in parliament. And I don't think many of us are ready for it yet.
I have seen a few family members die from cancer, it is one of the hardest things you can deal with. Not only are they in excruciating pain they are also withering away right in front of you too. Nana always complained about that nagging pain in her chest. She was a tough woman though!
Not all of us are built hardy for that. Most cancer patients are screaming out kill me as the pain becomes unbearable. I think nan being a strong woman of God, I think it made her a bit more resilient. She was prepared to face anything to get to heaven.
I know guys it sounds like blaspheme, but don't you think they should have the choice to end their suffering. In the end, its God who chooses where they end up.
I mean these doctors aren't out there for kicks killing patients it can be very hard on them too. They are just there to alleviate there suffering and put them at the pearly gates what happens from that point is between the patient and God.
I mean I don't fully support it nana and my stepfather did suck it up when they were dying. But for other people, it can be quite cruel and it is definitely unbearable to watch someone going out with cancer.
Please consider your views and ask around before making a judgement on matters such as these. Euthanasia can be beneficial to us too.
Pollution And Smart Consumerism
Pollution its everywhere! In your rivers, in the air, on the land and in the sea. It is spewing from pipes and chimneys all over the world, Why? Because of demand! The consumer is fueling our pollution all over the world because we choose to buy products that can be harmful to the environment.
If we all choose more eco-friendly products on the shelves we would have less harmful waste in our world. Why? Because if we choose more environmentally friendly products the waste products would be less damaging to our ecosystems and things like even plastics would be removed from our stores or markets leaving us with a world with less plastic wastes.
We see on the news today all the plastics that have gone into the ocean, loads of it floating around in the ocean poisoning our fish. If we have alternatives I suggest using them even at the cost of a few more dollars just to save our fish species or the whales even.
They say even things like colloidal silver can be hazardous to the environment as it accumulates overtime killing certain kinds of bacteria in our waterways and this could be harmful because certain bacteria may be protecting us from deadly pathogens natural to our environment, that's at a nano-level of pollution levels. Colloidal silver is found in most anti-bacterial creams and even in clothing.
Its time to shop smart now before all our waterways are destroyed. Even milk consumption is killing the land and poisoning our waterways, who said milk was good for you? Yes, the very scientists who cry out for our environment because consumerism went too far.
I say think smart, plus shop smart! The more we sway towards buying eco-friendly products the less demand there will be for environmentally damaging brands or products on our shelves leaving less nasty pollutions in our world. Then we can say we have a clean green environment for our future generations.
War Or Peace
War or peace! Peace, of course, we all want peace well most of us, then there are those few that want war all the time. I see war as a greedy resource grabbing tactic thought up by greedy men who must have everything within their grasp, not one of us benefits from war only the very wealthy or should I say the very greedy.
I get it back in the days it was more a thing of conquest in the new world no one was safe unless you got behind a bigger cause to protect you from the invading hordes or something like that. Valour, conquest, supremacy all sounds very good but in this day and age, its just mindless murder one of the reasons I gave myself to Jesus was to end all this suffering and famine and a lot of this is caused by all the conflict in the world.
we have a bigger enemy and its pollution or climate change to me war should be seen as something that is primitive something that has long passed in this life, its time to press on, there are no new frontiers each has his own let him have it. But no they turn our minds from our good lives and positive mindset and they show us something that should have been put away with years ago, yes, that's right its war! It's on every channel, I don't know about you but I for one think that's the behaviour of a primate. Not MAn!
When will they give up on all this useless fighting and finally bring us into one, combine us all and let go of all the differences? when do we get to press on out into the new frontier which is space and spread across the universe? that's enough fighting over the scraps just to serve only a few who hope to benefit from the struggle the only real struggle is self-control if we all govern our anger and settle our hatred we will see how easy it is to bring all man out of this struggle. perhaps even share our minds and become one entity.
I say enough with the lies and division its time to seek out the truth and that is they aren't our enemies it's the forces that fuel our greed our anger and our resentment. wouldn't the world be a better place if we all combined into one? Christianity talks of the one God let him be our ruler, not some selfish little man in a tower who looks over us like we are his cattle I would rather look to a father figure than a spoilt little child who must have all his toys and everything within his greedy little grasp. Unite people throw away your differences quell your anger and hatred and be peaceful people. Word
Nuke Crisis
They loom over us everyday and could possibly bring on the destruction of our planet. I'm talking about nuclear weapons! Coming from a country that is nuclear free you can understand my views, why do we need them.
Just recently North Korea threatened the world with their nuclear development program, putting everyone from here to America on edge. It only takes an hour for a nuke to travel to New Zealand we don't have defence systems like Europe and if we did. would they work?
Now russia has produced the new smart nuke that can navigate around defence systems and avoid counter measures. Not only that they are fast too, new super sonic nukes that could drop at any time. I say it again, why do we need them.
I wish to live in a free world where there is no threat of nuclear strikes yet they still continue to develop the damned things. Before you know it some one is going to push that nuke button and bring on world devastation and there will be nothing left.

Climate Change
Everybody has seen it on the news apparently the world is changing and becoming warmer the hurricanes are getting more powerful and there is draught and famine all over the place also flooding. The weather is changing and man is to blame we have been polluting the planet now the planet is giving it back to us.
Climate change its called and its affecting our weather and our lives. Also referred to as global warming is causing a lot of strife for the planet in some areas the weather is to dry to grow crops in other areas of the earth mass flooding. what is causing all this weather phenomenon?
well they say its the gases from our cars our factories and our farms, greenhouse gases CO2 or methane gases which are warming the earth. How are they warming the earth? Greenhouse gases sit in the atmosphere and reflect light and heat that usually reflects back out into space back to earth again. This causes the heat to intensify similar to a greenhouse.
With increased temperatures on the planet the weather becomes more torrential in places causing flash flooding or hurricanes and in other parts of the earth the air becomes to hot and dry causing widespread draught causing famine.
A lot of it is blamed on the use of fossile fuels such as coal and oil which we use in our cars in fact so of course we need to find alternatives another factor is deforestation. Together we might be able to save the planet from global warming if we are pollutant friendly and refuse to use fossile fuels.
Freedom Of Religion
Persecution of Christians has been around since the times of Christ just recently 147 Christians were murdered for being Christian in Kenya. This is not on! Why can't we as Christians freely practise our religion?
Since the times of Christ persecution of Christians has been a barbaric act in the time of the Romans they would feed Christians to the lions for sport or have them brutally executed for having another belief. Why then in this modern age does this still go on?
I as one can't stand it! In this country of ours we freely practise our beliefs whether it be Christianity or Islam. Just recently Muslims were murdered and our country spilled their hearts out to their people.
I believe all religions should have freedom of religion but also believe there is only one God, but it is not like i am going to thrash other religions or go out killing members of the other faiths.
If you believe killing is wrong then you agree with me Christians should have the freedom to practice their faith where ever it maybe.
God did write in the ten commandments 'thou shall not kill' even if it is a member of another religion.
Please pray for the 147 who died in Kenya and the many others who have either suffered or died for believing our great lord and saviour and remember don't let others walk all over you for your beliefs. Amen
The Homeless
Just a small talk about the homeless we just recently had an influx of homeless people in our community. Our community plans to turn the site of our old homeless shelter into a new homeless shelter by the end of this year.
Homeless people are people who are unable to acquire or maintain regular, safe, secure and adequate housing. everywhere you go in this world you are bound to run into a homeless person often called bums many homeless people live on the street or in parks most countries are trying their best to find these people a home sometimes it's hard as many homeless people prefer living on the street where they feel safer.
In Christchurch, New Zealand an earthquake in the year 2011 left many homeless after most properties were either damaged beyond repair or were condemned by engineers and ordered not safe enough to dwell in. Crisis's like these leave many without adequate safe living options causing them to move to other districts in order to find housing. In some cases, some people never find housing and end up living on the streets.
This is just one example. Another is the rising costs of living and housing market prices driving the rent up this leaving many people without housing even though they are earning a modest income this has been happening in Auckland New Zealand for some years now. Shelters are being built and solutions are being organised but I don't think we will ever get all the homeless off the streets.
