Portable Wifi
vs
Mobile Hotspot

Which is better? Well, first which is handier? We all carry our phones on us so quite simply it would be Mobile Hotspot don't you think. Then again, which has the better plans? Ah! That's when Portable Wifi is, in fact, better as it has cheaper plans so I would go with Portable Wifi.
Portable wifi can be purchased at your local ISP they come with plans ranging from 30 to 250gb and you only need pay a monthly charge which is relatively cheap. So put your Phone away and save it for the new Augmented reality phase we are about to enter.
Me myself I use mobile hotspot I pay a plan that leaves me with about 5 GB after a few months and I don't want to let it go to waste so I go out and burn it at my sisters for the weekend or go out on a holiday in the country and burn it out there you'll be surprised at the coverage here in New Zealand the cellular networks go just about everywhere you can go to in this country.
Not only does Portable Wifi serve you it also caters for your friends to I have had a LAN party of about three just on the mobile hotspot but I have had to keep my phone out of my pocket as the phones do heat up when you're using all that network traffic. Another reason Portable wifi is better as it is better designed to handle big loads of data.
Whichever you prefer is up to you I will stick with my Phone for now as I have Ultra Fast Broadband in my house 100mb of pure internet and its all mine.
Virtual Reality

Imagine being fully immersed in the game that you play like really inside there running around. VR or virtual reality does that it is like your really in that game or on that battleground. Talk about being in the matrix man! It looks real! I recently bought myself one for the cell phone and played a VR movie on youtube it was like I was really in Iraq. You can also get VR for Console or PC they are a bit pricey at about $600 NZD or more but they are worth every penny.
With today's augmented reality, the Virtual reality is taking on new heights being able to walk around with VR on while viewing the world. Let's say your playing world Doom or something, 'I will just make something up', you put on your VR go to school and on the way think maybe I will have a jam. Then Bam! Monsters jump at you from everywhere on your walk to school that my friend is augmented reality and VR combined it turns the real the world into a gaming world.
These are just a few things you can do with VR there are also special rigs that make your VR gaming experience a bit more realistic, better than force feedback they actually simulate every move you make say when your racing cars or even flying spacecraft, also special running pads to walk on which simulates you walking in the game.
Now I know you want to buy a VR headset. Before storming into the retailer may I suggest buying the phone version first I bought one for about 16 dollars on Trademe to get the feel of VR! Saves blowing all your bucks as I believe they haven't fully developed VR quite yet.
Anyway, see you NOOBS in the matrix!
Smart Watches

We have heard about them in spy films. Agent 007 has one! Most secret agents do! Yes, I'm talking about Smart Watches a smartwatch is a touchscreen wearable computer in the form of a wristwatch and you can pick them up online relatively cheap off the internet. Smartwatches have been around for some time now I personally sell them on TradeMe.
Well, they are phone watches some can skype and some can read your pulse, the new fit bit is a more suave version of the smartwatch and is used by fitness freaks all over the globe. You can send emails, video chat, phone and email your clients, plus added features such as a pedometer, GPS, heart monitor, sleep monitor and portable media players. Maybe you too can become a secret agent with one! Smartwatches now come with expandable memory so you can store your favourite music and photos on a small mini SD 'microchip'.
They are also rechargeable and you do not need to replace the batteries, they are able to connect to other smart devices such as smartphones and tablets in order to transfer data and well its a Phone. Who would have thought we would have these things back when the phone was invented. Oh well if you are interested in buying a smartphone the prices vary between 40 to 300 dollars online and they come with instructions.
Drone Wars

From big to small, drones are becoming a part of the modern age. Used in the military against Isis the Americans were able to clear zones and push back the enemy. Military drones were relatively new a few years ago. Well, I thought so but if you look back at world war 2 the Germans produced drones to fly bombs across the sea and attack Britain. You can pick a drone up online for about $70 NZ Dollars I have been through two now as I am not a very good drone pilot they are cheap and easy to fly.
Drones can be used for anything from military operations to deliveries and they are only just starting to develop passenger-carrying drones to take you on a flight. At the moment they are being mass produced as a toy for kids, little radio control quadcopters and the like. They are fun they are good weapons and they I believe are here to stay! Man, I feel like going out and flying my drone right now.
Maybe one day we will get our own personal space probes or warp driven drones.
